Overview

Part of the Canary Islands, Fuerteventura is a fantastic choice for sandy beaches and sunny skies at any time of year. We fly in every season, so you can choose when to make the most of its sparkling Atlantic oceanfront and friendly resorts. The island’s laid back pace means you’ll have plenty of time to discover local shops and the Canarian cuisine too.

Stunning beaches

The sandy coastline of Fuerteventura stretches for miles. Playa Sotavento is an open expanse of silky shoreline that also hosts the PWA Windsurfing and Kitesurfing World Cup. Costa Calma and Costa Caleta – Caleta De Fuste are also popular, thanks to their crystalline waters and white-gold sands.

Natural wonders

The sand dunes of the Corralejo Natural Park make it one of Fuerteventura’s most popular attractions. They stretch for 27 square miles at the northern tip of the island. It’s also worth making the journey inland for stargazing at the Tefia Observatory.

Coastal towns

You’ll find a rich range of towns along the coastline of Fuerteventura. In the south, there’s Morro Jable, with a scenic harbour and upmarket shops, while in the north you’ll find Corralejo, La Oliva and Costa Calma.
