Jet2 and NSPCC celebrate impactful partnership
We’re very proud of the incredible impact of our transformative partnership with the charity NSPCC. Together, since March 2023, we’ve raised over £460,000 to help protect children and young people across the UK. This has gone a long way to supporting vital services and safeguarding initiatives that make a real difference. And it’s this that makes us really pleased with our progress so far. Including fundraising, pro bono work and apprenticeships, our colleagues have gone above and beyond to align and help out with NSPCC’s mission to keep children safe.
Making a difference locally together
So far, Jet2’s support has helped expand three direct services in Leeds: Pregnancy in Mind (PiM, which supports parents-to-be with mental health), Domestic Abuse Recovering Together (DART, helping families recover from domestic abuse), and Letting The Future In (LTFI, for children and families affected by sexual abuse).
We’ve also helped grow the Leeds Childline team, enabling the launch of a night service and increasing volunteer numbers to 50 active volunteers and 25 in training.
Our colleagues
From festive fundraising and gift donations to the London Marathon and the Wakefield Dragon Boat Race, our valued colleagues around the business have shown great passion and commitment. We're also really grateful to our apprentices who took part in National Apprenticeship Week activities, including the Bright Sparks Lunch Club and creative challenges to support Childline recruitment.
So you can see why we’re very proud of what we’ve achieved together with the NSPCC. Thank you to every Jet2 colleague who has contributed to this journey – your ongoing efforts are helping to build a safer, brighter future for children and families across the UK!
