Iceland on sale for Winter 22/23

Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks have responded to strong demand for trips and holidays to Iceland, by putting on their biggest ever programme of flights and breaks for Winter 22/23.
A programme of scheduled services and dedicated trips will see Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks operate almost 120 outbound services to Iceland from across ten UK bases in Winter 22/23, providing customers and independent travel agents with fantastic choice when it comes to seeing the Northern Lights and the abundance of natural wonders that Iceland has to offer.
The leading leisure airline and UK’s largest operator of city breaks to Europe will fly twice-weekly scheduled services to Iceland from Birmingham and Manchester Airports during key times next winter, giving customers and independent travel agents fantastic choice.
In addition, the company will also operate a series of dedicated flights and trips to Iceland from Bristol Airport for the first time in Winter 22/23. This means customers in the South West and Wales can choose from three dedicated trips in 2023, operating at the best times for those wishing to experience the spectacular Northern Lights. This is in addition to flights and trips operating in Winter 22/23 from Belfast International, Edinburgh, East Midlands, Glasgow, Leeds Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle and London Stansted Airports.
The programmes of scheduled services from Birmingham and Manchester Airports are perfectly timed for those wanting to experience the spectacular Northern Lights, with twice-weekly (Monday and Thursday) services operating from both bases from 29th September until 21st November in 2022, and from 9th February to 24th April in 2023. As well as giving people more opportunity to see the Northern Lights and experience the natural wonders of Iceland, this offers great choice and flexibility with stays of three-nights or more available.
In addition to this programme of scheduled flights, Jet2.com and Jet2CityBreaks are operating over 40 three and four-night dedicated trips to Iceland from eight other UK bases, including Bristol Airport for the first time.
Whether it is the cityscape of Reykjavik, the spectacular Northern Lights, or the stunning Golden Circle and its geothermal lagoons, spas and waterfalls, Iceland offers an incredible variety of things for customers to experience and see.
Customers can pick from flight-only or package holiday options, with package options with Jet2CityBreaks available for a low £60 per person deposit. Package options with Jet2CityBreaks include a guided Northern Lights Tour, flights with Jet2.com including 22kg hold luggage, transfers to and from the airport, as well as a choice of 3 and 4-star hotels in central Reykjavik which provide the perfect base from which to explore and experience authentic Icelandic cuisine. In addition, excursions to the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon and South Shore are also available to purchase.
All flights to Keflavík International Airport near Reykjavik will be operated by award-winning Jet2.com, and the full programme is as follows:
- Scheduled services operating twice weekly from Manchester and Birmingham Airports.
- Manchester –scheduled services operating every Monday and Thursday from 29th September – 21st November 2022, and 9th February – 24th April 2023.
- Birmingham –scheduled services operating every Monday and Thursday from 29th September – 21st November 2022, and 9th February – 24th April 2023.
- Over 40 trips to Iceland and the Northern Lights from eight other UK bases.
- BRAND NEW BRISTOL – three trips in total, including trips in March and April 2023.
- Newcastle – ten trips in total, with departures in October and November 2022, as well as February, March and April 2023.
- Leeds Bradford – nine trips in total, with departures in October and November 2022, as well as February, March and April 2023.
- East Midlands – seven trips in total, with departures in November 2022, as well as February, March and April 2023.
- Glasgow – five trips in total, including three in October 2022, as well as departures in February and March 2023.
- London Stansted – five trips in total, with departures in October and November 2022, as well as February and March 2023.
- Edinburgh – two trips available, including one in October 2022 and one in March 2023.
- Belfast International – one dedicated four-night trip departing on Thursday 29th September.
