It is fantastic to be back in the air and welcoming customers onboard again.

“Since announcing five brand-new routes to Jersey for this summer, we’ve experienced strong sales despite the ongoing uncertainty that has been caused by the pandemic. We know our customers who are looking to enjoy a much-deserved holiday on the stunning Island will be delighted to get away. We look forward to taking more customers on holiday to Jersey and other destinations this summer and getting back to doing what we do best – taking customers away on our award-winning flights and Real Package Holidays.”

Amanda Burns, CEO of Visit Jersey, said: “We believe Jersey is ideally placed as a staycation destination for the UK holidaymaker keen to travel and make up for lost time. The Island is within easy reach of the mainland and appeals to visitors who want the feeling of getting away but at the same time staying closer to home. The arrival of new routes served by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is incredibly exciting and we are delighted to welcome visitors from their new departure hubs across the UK.”

Matt Thomas, Chief Executive Officer for Ports of Jersey, said: “We are really looking forward to welcoming Jet2.com and Jet2holidays back to Jersey and reconnecting with the Island this summer; not only with the relaunch of its established service to Leeds but with the five new routes they will also be operating. I have no doubt that their services will prove popular with local residents wishing to finally catch up with much missed family and friends but also the opportunities it will allow for those wishing to holiday in Jersey this summer.”
