It’s Take Off for Our Ultimate School Trip!

Today is the day we have all been looking forward to! The Jet2holidays team is taking 260 school children to Sol Katmandu Park and Resort for our very first Ultimate School Trip!
The nine winning schools - St Patrick's Primary (Belfast International), Canal View (Edinburgh), Waterfoot Primary (Manchester), St Paul's Primary (Birmingham), Tirlebrook Primary (London Stansted), Newburn Manor (Newcastle), Loudoun Primary (Glasgow), St Luke's Primary (Leeds Bradford) and Southwark Primary (East Midlands) – are departing today for a weekend full of fun and learning including a Genius Science Show with kids TV hosts Dick & Dom plus a dance masterclass with Diversity's Jordan Banjo.
To win a place on the Ultimate School Trip, the children were invited to submit a promotional piece for Sol Katmandu Park and Resort. Over 1,600 schools entered the competition and 45 schools were shortlisted to go up for a public vote to find a winning class from each region. In addition, each shortlisted school received £1,000 worth of funding for their school.
After a week of intense campaigning for votes, including radio & press interviews, our final nine schools were chosen and are now jetting off on the school trip a lifetime.
