Jet2.com, Jet2holidays and Jet2CityBreaks are enjoying yet more celebrations, having scooped FOUR prestigious titles last night at the most important event in the Scottish travel industry calendar, the Annual Scottish Passenger Agents’ Association Travel Awards (SPAA).
Jet2.com was named Best Holiday Airline for the sixth consecutive year, Jet2holidays scooped the coveted Best Overall Operator and also won Best Mainstream Short Haul Tour Operator for the third year in a row and in a magnificent first award win, Jet2CityBreaks won the prestigious Best European Short Break Provider.
The success means that we have scooped an incredible EIGHT awards in just two weeks, following a Jet2holidays treble at the NI Travel Awards (Best Package Tour Operator, Best Internet Booking System and Best Sales Support to the Northern Ireland Travel Trade) and Jet2.com winning Best Airline at the Group Leisure Awards last week.
The SPAA Awards come on the back of significant growth and investment in Scotland. Next year will see us operate our biggest ever summer and winter programmes from Scotland, with more flights and seats than ever before, as well as brand new routes.
This continued growth has resulted in the creation of over 150 new jobs across both airports, as well as these fantastic award wins!
