Jet2holidays soars at NI travel awards

Jet2holidays is flying high after picking up three awards at the 25th annual Blue Insurance Northern Ireland Travel and Tourism Awards.
The leading package holiday specialist, which operates to a range of destinations direct from Belfast International Airport, repeated its triple winning performance of 2015 by collecting the awards for Best Package Tour Operator, Best Internet Booking System and Best Sales Support to the Northern Ireland Travel Trade.
The 25th Anniversary Awards were the biggest since the Awards’ inception in 1991 and a new record of 30 different categories were up for grabs at the ceremony, hosted by TV-star Jimmy Nesbitt, at the Slieve Donard Resort and Spa. Next summer will see Jet2.com and Jet2holidays operate its biggest ever summer programme from Northern Ireland, with more flights and seats than ever before to 14 sunshine hotspots direct from Belfast International Airport.
This continued has resulted in the creation of 50 new jobs at the airport. The accolades keep on coming, as earlier this year Jet2.com was voted UK’s top airline by TripAdvisor users and Most Loved Airline by users of Skytrax.
