Announcements

It’s exactly one month since Jet2.com and Jet2holidays announced flights and holidays from London Stansted Airport, our NINTH UK airport base and FIRST in the South of England, with the help of Essex royalty Mark Wright.

With the first flights from London Stansted Airport taking off on Thursday 30th March 2017 to Alicante, Faro, Majorca and Lanzarote, there isn’t long to go and we’ve been busy preparing.

Our recruitment team is hard at work filling 240 positions at the airport in Ground Operations, Cabin Crew, Flight Deck and Engineering roles. They recently met over 600 people at the London Stansted Recruitment Day, with the team seeing some great candidates. We have a number of selection days coming up over the next few weeks, so now is the perfect time to apply for roles at www.jet2careers.com

As well as recruiting and getting the team ready for our launch, we have been letting people in the London Stansted catchment area know about our arrival too. As well as giving away free flights as part of our shopping centre visits, we’ve been taking over two key commuter routes in London, King’s Cross and Liverpool Street Underground stations. You can see some of the work below, with commuters getting plenty of chance to learn about our friendly low fares and package holidays that you can trust.

This has been done in conjunction with advertising across TV, Press, Brand display and radio, and it’s all combining to bring Jet2.com and Jet2holidays to more and more people ahead of our big launch next Spring.
