Jet2.com and Jet2holidays were this week honoured in the British Travel and Hospitality Hall of Fame Awards for outstanding achievement in the travel sector.
Receiving the award, CEO Steve Heapy, said: “We are thrilled to have received this award. It’s a fantastic accolade and tops another strong year for us. Jet2.com had an exceptional summer last year, carrying 4.53 million passengers. This year is set to be our biggest yet with further route expansion and the introduction of the first of our 30 new, next generation Boeing 737-800, aircraft.
“Jet2holidays also continues to go from strength to strength. We've grown the number of passengers travelling with us from 1 million in 2014/15 to more than 1.2 million in 2015/16.
“To be recognised by the industry for our achievements in providing friendly low fares and package holidays you can trust is a real honour.”
