Strike the Pose! Glasgow Team's Festive Fashions

The Jet2.com team at Glasgow Airport appear to have set the benchmark for getting in the New York spirit to celebrate our shopping trips to the Big Apple!

Choosing a ‘New York Fashion Week’ theme, five of the staff volunteered as models, each wearing a costume which had a distinctive Jet2.com/Jet2holidays theme. There was a ‘Rain Cheque’ dress, made of the special vouchers handed to all passengers on their return flights. Two ‘boarding pass dresses were created from the ‘tear off’ part that our staff retain at the gate, repurposed into fan and flower shapes!

The “menu card dress” was made from out-of-date menu cards, while the ‘hand luggage label dress’ was created from recycled white cabin bag labels.

The rest of the staff acted as “back stage crew” and wore specially designed t-shirts to keep in-line with the theme.

As if that wasn’t enough, the Jet2.com team created their very own catwalk in the terminal complete with red carpet and music and check-in desks were transformed into a ‘back stage dressing room’ with lights, makeup stations and clothes rails.

The day went down brilliantly with customers and the staff had great fun getting involved with the unique theme. Well done all!
