It’s a big well done this week to Jet2.com’s ‘Team Rome’ who have been named the Quarterly Team winners in the A Great Deal Friendlier Awards.
Back in May, a severe fire destroyed a large part of Terminal 3 at Rome Fiumicino Airport, causing chaos for months afterwards. On the day of the fire, all flights out of the airport were cancelled with over 1,000 Jet2.com customers left with no way of getting home. However, our ‘Red Team’ sprang into action, taking care of customers and assisting in any way they could.
Meanwhile, volunteers from the UK were fighting to get out to the Italian capital where they stayed for over a week to ensure the best possible service in hugely difficult circumstances.
