Jet2.com is continuing its Onboard Together campaign to stamp out offensive customer behaviour by today issuing court proceedings against four disruptive passengers.
The leading leisure airline will look to recover the cost of damage caused to its aircraft by the individuals. It is seeking hundreds of pounds to cover repairs for broken tray tables and cup holders. The vandalism took place on four separate flights in June and July.
Phil Ward, managing director of Jet2.com said: “We are determined to put a stop to this unacceptable and unnecessary behaviour. These four passengers showed absolutely no respect towards our aircraft and caused disruption for fellow passengers. With our Onboard Together programme we are committed to taking the necessary action to stamp out offensive passenger behaviour on our flights and that includes making people pay for their inappropriate actions.”
