Jet2.com and Jet2holidays recently celebrated with our A Great Deal Friendlier award winners for 2014/2015. We welcomed our Directors, this year’s champions and our Colleagues Choice nominees along with some of last year’s winners at the Director’s Awards Dinner at the Double Tree Hilton, Leeds.
The winners of this year’s Quarterly Individual Awards are:
Q1 Winner – Ryan Healey – Overseas Rep
Q2 Winner – Kirsty Bingham – Cabin Crew LBA
Q3 Winner – Tara Crosby – Duty Manager ALC
Q4 Winner – Ray Fessey – Internal Auditor
All four winners were shortlisted for the Annual A Great Deal Friendlier Individual Award, which was won by Tara Crosby. Tara displayed organisation and professionalism when a Jet2.com customer – Mrs Franklin - travelling from Alicante to Newcastle collapsed at Security. Mrs Franklin was diagnosed with a brain haemorrhage and Tara continued to visit the hospital throughout.
She wins a Jet2.com flight or Jet2holidays city break or Holiday for 4 up to the value of £2,500 plus a Great Experience.
The winners of this year’s Quarterly Team Awards are:
Q1 Winner – Dispatch & Ground Ops
Q2 Winner – Ground Ops FAO
Q3 Winner – EMA Cabin Crew
Q4 Winners – Leeds Hangar & Chambery Crew
The overall team award was presented to The Hangar Team LBA for their efforts on Boxing Day night to remove ice and ensure Jet2.com’s operation could continue to run smoothly. The team wins a Team Experience up to the value of £1,000.
Jet2.com and Jet2Holidays colleagues nominated 23 individuals for the annual A Great Deal Friendlier Colleagues Choice Award, with this year’s prize going to Gill Adie, Ground Operations Systems Supervisor LBA. Gill was nominated by her peers for her work in the implementation and training of the INK check in systems, and she wins a Jet2.com or Jet2holidays City Break or Holiday for 2 up to the value of £500, plus a Great Experience.
The final award of the evening – The Golden Ticket – was won by Kirsty Bingham (Cabin Crew LBA) who unwrapped the personalised chocolate bar to win 2 flights with Jet2.com.
