Announcements

In April 2012, Disneyland Paris marked 20 years of inspiring wonder in the hearts of children from all over the world. Having extended the duration of the resort’s celebrations to incorporate a number of special events in 2013, the celebrations are set to end this September.

The Disney Dreams show – which comprises music, fireworks and a light show, as well as visuals projected onto the gigantic Castle of the Beauty Sleeping in the Wood – was updated again following the success of the show in 2012. Previously updated specifically for the 20th anniversary, the show also includes dancing fountains, laser effects and water screens. As part of the 2013 extension of the anniversary celebrations, the show now incorporates aspects from 90s Disney classic The Lion King and the more recent hit Brave into the spectacle.

Even More Updates

Those planning on booking cheap flights to Paris with Jet2.com for this year’s Disneyland celebrations are advised to consider additional travel arrangements for when they touch down in Paris, as the resort is located 20 miles south of the city centre.

As well as the update to the Disney Dreams show, the parade has been updated to include new ‘chariots’ on top of those making regular appearances. Similarly, many of the best loved Disney characters – including Donald, Minnie and Pluto – are sporting brand new outfits.

It is best to book cheap flights to Paris sooner rather than later, as openings could fill due to the popularity of the anniversary.
