Announcements

Many people put their summer holidays on hold in the belief that they simply can’t afford it.  However with a little planning anyone can have a holiday in the sun, no matter how small their holiday budget.

Ibiza is a great place to enjoy a budget holiday, even without splashing the cash you can enjoy everything that the island has to offer.  Think about what you want from your holiday, think about what is important and what you can live without.  Limit the holiday luxuries and you can enjoy the island in all its glory.

Being Economical

Forget the taxi and take the bus from the airport, during the summer season they run approximately every fifteen minutes from the airport.  A taxi may be the fastest way to get you to your destination but it is also the most expensive.  Take the bus to the port area and you will find that there are loads of accommodation choices there that won’t eat at your budget.

Look for guesthouses and B&B’s rather than the pricier hotels.  Eating out can be done very cheaply here so there is no need to pay extra for dinner at your accommodation.

Free Attractions

Many of the attractions on the island are free to enjoy, the history the picturesque medieval streets and of course the beaches.  Local markets offer a great way to buy fresh food at incredible prices, so throw together a picnic and go exploring.  Cheap flights to Ibiza are available through Jet2.com so you can save money on your air fare too.
