Look for guesthouses and B&B’s rather than the pricier hotels. Eating out can be done very cheaply here so there is no need to pay extra for dinner at your accommodation.
Many of the attractions on the island are free to enjoy, the history the picturesque medieval streets and of course the beaches. Local markets offer a great way to buy fresh food at incredible prices, so throw together a picnic and go exploring.
