Croatia has become a force to be reckoned with where its music festivals are concerned, as each year it hosts some of the coolest and quirkiest music festivals to be found anywhere in Europe. If you’re thinking of taking cheap flights to Croatia next year you should certainly consider trying to fit a music festival into your visit, and with so many to choose from, it won’t be a tough task!
One of Croatia’s music festivals for which anticipation is already building is Soundwave, which takes place in Tisno, about an hour outside Split. Held between the 18th and 22nd July you’re almost guaranteed fantastic weather whilst you enjoy sets from the likes of Soundcrash, New Bohemia and Bonobo, and with many more acts still to be announced it’s definitely a festival to watch.
Outlook Festival has also become renowned across the continent, not only for its killer line-ups but also for its unique location in the grounds of Pula’s abandoned Medieval fort, Punta Christo. Having scooped the award for Best Overseas Festival at the 2012 UK Festival Awards, Outlook Festival’s 2013 edition, taking place between 29th August and 2nd September, should be the best yet - so keep your eyes peeled for the line-up.
If you can’t get enough of dance music in the sun, Stop Making Sense Festival will also be right up your street. Between the 1st and 4th August this festival will take over the private beach at Tisno for four days of DJs, dancing and dramatic sunsets, so snap up your cheap flights to Split now so you don’t miss out on the fun.
