Ibiza has always been the fashionable place to be, either to have a holiday home of your own or to visit for a couple of weeks a year to top up your tan and dance the night way. But it is now attracting a different type of property investor, the celebrity kind.
Just lately Cesc Fabregas (FC Barcelona) has bought property on the island; he is the latest in a long line of celebrities looking to enjoy some down time on this effervescent holiday isle. It seems that one of the things that make this such a popular place with the A-listers is that there is very little intrusion from the paparazzi here for them to worry about.
So comfortable are they with the way life is lived on the island that they are willing to leave the celebrity entourage and bodyguards at home in order to enjoy the nightlife.
