It would seem that in order to hit the ground running when taking over the BBC Radio 1 Breakfast Show, Nick Grimshaw decided that a period of rest and relaxation on the beaches of sunny Ibiza was needed.
Grimshaw was snapped soaking up the sun on the beach with model and long-time friend Kate Moss, as well as Kate’s husband Jamie Hince, friend Aimee Phillips and also Naomi Campbell’s partner, Vladislav Doronin.
Perhaps it was friendly and jovial atmosphere of the group that allowed the DJ to prepare himself for the onslaught of early mornings that were to come as he steps into the newly vacant seat of fellow presenter Chris Moyles. They all spent time posing for pictures with each other on the sand before poring over the newly acquired images on their mobile phones!
Kate, looking relaxed and at ease with her hair hanging loose and wearing an Aztec design embroidered kaftan looked every inch the beach babe, whereas Mr Grimshaw looked cool and chilled in denim cut offs and a summer shirt.
After spending time on the sands of Ibiza the group were ushered away in a dinghy to their next port of call. Though you may not have the entourage of a super model you can still strut the beach in style as there are plenty of cheap flights to Ibiza available through Jet2.com; just pack your shades and your kaftan and you’re all good to go!
