Jet2.com will be helping to light up Blackpool again with the sponsorship of its iconic Illuminations Switch-On weekend.
This is the third year the leading leisure airline has sponsored Blackpool’s biggest event of the year, showing its continued support for the UK’s most popular holiday destination.
Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: “Blackpool is a key base for us and we are delighted to be sponsoring this iconic event. The Switch-On remains an important visitor attraction for the seaside town, making it a winter destination favourite for many of our inbound passengers too.”
Natalie Wyatt, Managing Director of Marketing Blackpool, added: “This is a great sponsorship deal for the Switch-On as Jet2.com and Jet2holidays are so closely affiliated to Blackpool.
“We are delighted they recognise the importance of this event which is one of Blackpool’s biggest weekends of the year. We have the magnificent Switch-On concert on Friday with The Script headlining, Eliza Doolittle as special guest and then Jonathan Ross to flick the actual switch. This is then followed by Madness on Saturday, a band with such wide appeal that we just know it will be a great gig.
