- Jordon to jet off to Reus in the Costa Dorada to stay at The Hotel Caribe in PortAventura
Christmas has come early for 10 year old Jordon McKeown from Seven Mile Straight in Antrim. Over the past few weeks the Sunday World, together with Jet2holidays and Jet2.com teamed up with the Hotel Caribe in PortAventura, to run the ever popular Colour My World competition. Hundreds of children entered this competition, but Jordon was the unanimous winner and he’ll be jetting off to the Costa Dorada this summer with his family for one week.
Flying to Reus, which is less than one hour from Barcelona, Jordon and his family will find the perfect place to unwind during the school holidays. The Four Star Hotel Caribe offers the perfect combination of relaxation and hours of adventure in the PortAventura theme park. Jordon, who is currently a pupil at Loadends Primary School says;
“Over the Halloween holidays my mum bought me new crayons and when she saw the colouring in competition in the Sunday World she suggested that I entered it. I thought it would be a bit of fun to enter the competition to win a free holiday with Jet2holidays, but never did I think I would win.” Jordon continues;
“When I got the phone call to say that I was the overall winner I was totally shocked; in fact I’m still in shock. I’m really looking forward to treating my mum, dad and brother Adam. Adam and I are really looking forward to going to PortAventura theme park and the Aquatic Park. I think mum and dad will prefer to relax on the beach. I have never been to Spain before so this is going to be such an adventure. I have only told a few friends in school that I’ve won this prize. I didn’t tell my teacher Miss Wright as she probably won’t believe me, but after reading this article in the Sunday World she will!”
