Jet2.com and Jet2holidays add Summer 22 capacity to host of hotspots

Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have responded to the continued demand for Summer 22 flights and holidays by adding more choice to a number of sunshine destinations from Manchester Airport.
With customers flocking to book their Summer 22 holidays following the removal of testing and travel restrictions by both the UK and overseas Governments, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have added more capacity to the Balearic Islands (Majorca and Ibiza) and Santorini, as well as one of their brand-new destinations for Summer 22 – Sardinia.
The additional flights added today are:
- Sardinia – a brand-new destination for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays this summer, the addition of a perfectly timed departure every Saturday morning from 23rd July to 24th September gives holidaymakers the choice of two weekly departures to this Italian gem.
- Ibiza – additional Saturday and Sunday services operating between 23rd July and 25th September means up to three services each day over the weekend, on top of up to 16 weekly services to choose from.
- Majorca – additional Thursday services operating between 21st July and 22nd September means up to 27 weekly departures, including up to five services on a Thursday.
- Santorini – additional Sunday services operating between 24th July and 25th September means up to four weekly services in Summer 22.
The UK’s largest tour operator to many leisure destinations across the Mediterranean and Canary Islands has reported continued demand for Summer 22 holidays since travel started to return to normal, as customers look to make up for missing out for the past two summers.
Jet2holidays has also reported a trend of holidaymakers indulging themselves more this coming summer. In addition, the extra protection that booking through a trusted package holiday provider such as Jet2holidays gives, including ATOL-protection and prompt refunds, is proving extremely assuring to customers.

He added: “As always, we will be responding to demand by adding more flights and holidays, such as the additional capacity we are announcing to Sardinia, Santorini, Majorca and Ibiza today. Although we always look to give our customers unrivalled choice and flexibility, this strong demand coupled with holidaymakers looking to really treat themselves this summer, could make things look a little different this year. For instance, with holidaymakers acting quickly to book the best rooms, hotels and destinations, the late deal could well become harder to find as the year progresses.”
