Customers join in Faro celebrations

Customers on our Birmingham to Faro flight were surprised with a whole host of celebrations at Faro Airport yesterday, as the airport reached the milestone of eight million passengers through the airport this year.
Staff at the airport laid on celebrations for Jet2.com and Jet2holidays customers which included entertainment, music and regional performances that characterise the stunning Algarve. What better way to start a lovely holiday than a welcome like that.
Alberto Mota Borges, Director of Faro Airport, said, "The celebration with Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is of great significance for Faro Airport not only because of the role the company has played in promoting this airport and the region, but also because of the commitment it continues to make in increasing routes in the winter season.”
Jet2.com and Jet2holidays has played a major role in contributing to the growth in customers travelling through Faro Airport this summer, thanks to our biggest ever programme which included two new routes and daily services from Birmingham and London Stansted.
