Dreamy beaches

The 6km-long stretch of white sand at Tingaki Beach is the main reason why its surrounding resort is so popular over summer. There’s also the aptly named Paradise Beach on the southern coastline, which has white-gold sands leading to crystalline waters.

Ancient history

Kos is famed for being the birthplace of Hippocrates, known as ‘the father of Western medicine’. In Kos Town, you can visit the International Hippocratic Foundation of Kos, where you can find out more the ancient Greek physician. Just outside of the capital, you’ll also find the archaeological site of Asclepeion and the ruins of its healing temples.

Idyllic towns

Kefalos is the perfect place to unwind in Kos. Located on the sun-soaked southern coast of the island, it’s a peaceful village with a great selection of beaches and even an olive oil factory. You’ll also love Lambi for its white sand coastline and cycle pathways.
