Nearest ski resorts

Cortina d’Ampezzo are two of the closest and most popular ski resorts close to Venice. It takes around two and a half hours to get there, depending on traffic and weather conditions.

Highest resort

Nestled between the Gruppo del Sella Massif and the Marmolada glacier, Arabba offers some of the highest slopes in the Dolomites. Cortina d’Ampezzo, Alta Badia and Val Gardena are other lofty locales.

Biggest ski area

The Dolomiti Superski area covers over 1,200km of piste, 450 lifts and 12 resorts, all in one pass. There’s something for beginners and pros alike, and it won’t take you long to see why the Dolomites are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
