Parques de snowboarding

A piste of the past

Since the 1960s, Axamer has been celebrated as a bigwig for winter sports. This means newcomers to the slopes can experience a real range of immaculate easy, mid-level and trickier runs. With stunning scenery around you and fresh mountain air filling your lungs, you’ll be in your element.

Go for gold

Often known by locals as the ‘White Roof’, given its snowy looks and links to Innsbruck’s famous ‘Golden Roof’, this place has a reputation among snowboarders. Tying in with its roots, the terrain park is affectionately named ‘Golden Roofpark’ and boasts fun slopes, obstacles for daredevils and freeriding areas.

The best of the rest

Curling, tobogganing, bowling, swimming – you name it, you can do it here. But don’t forget the seasonal sleigh rides! Axamer’s even home to the wacky Olympiabahn funicular. When the lights go low, pitch up in a cute café, pizzeria or pub. There’s even a choice of upmarket dining digs, plus a disco for the late-night lot.
