Jet2.com is celebrating the success of its latest cohort of Future Second Officers, who have officially graduated from the airline's Future Second Officer programme and are now progressing into Second Officer roles. 

At a graduation ceremony held at our Bradford Training Centre, eight graduates were presented with their wings and epaulettes, marking a significant milestone on their journey to the flight deck and the start of an exciting new chapter in their aviation careers. 

The Future Second Officer programme is designed to equip aspiring pilots with an understanding of Jet2 values, providing valuable experience across operational, inflight and business areas. The programme helps prepare future pilots for life working within Jet2.com, while offering insight into the many teams and functions that work as One Team to deliver award-winning flights and holidays. 

Among those graduating was Richard Nickle, whose inspiring journey from military service to airline pilot was supported by Wings for Warriors, a charity dedicated to helping ex-military professionals pursue careers in aviation. Richard's achievement highlights how determination and resilience can help turn ambitions into reality. 

Colleagues across the business gathered to celebrate the achievements of the graduates and recognise the hard work and commitment they have shown throughout the programme.
