Announcements

Jet2.com is introducing brand-new Cabin Crew and Pilot uniforms which have been developed alongside, and even by, colleagues which will be debuted from today (Monday 24th February).

Although there have been many subtle changes over the years, the brand-new uniforms represent the first major change to Jet2.com’s Cabin Crew and Pilot uniforms in more than 20 years, marking a shift in both look and feel.

The launch comes ahead of Summer 25, which is the company’s biggest ever summer programme with more customers flying with Jet2.com than ever, meaning the new-look uniforms will be worn onboard by almost 6,000 Cabin Crew and Pilot colleagues.

The uniforms have been designed and manufactured following in-depth consultation with Jet2.com colleagues over the past 18 months to get the look and feel just right. This process has included design workshops, wearer trials, focus groups and even a catwalk session.

On the back of this detailed process, significant improvements have been made to the design, durability, fit and comfort of the uniforms – with major changes including:

  • Pilot uniforms changed from black to navy blue.
  • A modernised Cabin Crew uniform providing a better fit for all wearers, with silver buttons and detailed red tailoring giving an added wow factor.
  • Brand-new Cabin Crew dress for colleagues, giving them choice between a dress, skirt and trousers.
  • Numerous other changes such as the introduction of waistcoats and cardigans, better fabrics for even more comfort, and improved functionality such as pockets as well as a new apron which has been designed by June Winter, a Jet2.com Cabin Crew colleague based at Newcastle Airport.

For eight years, Jet2.com has partnered with Jermyn Street Design (JSD) to design and manufacture its uniforms. These new designs reflect JSD's expertise in building brand value through award-winning designs, ethical and sustainable production, and a focus on wearer well-being. JSD oversees the entire lifecycle of the Jet2.com uniform programme, from sourcing materials across their global supply chain to distribution across all business areas in the UK and Europe. With over 44 years of experience, JSD is a trusted partner for businesses seeking high-quality, impactful uniform solutions.

The new uniform incorporates fibres made from recycled materials and will be delivered to Jet2.com colleagues in fully recyclable packaging. Up to 80,000 garments from old uniforms will be recycled into new materials, with over 3,000 garments that cannot be recycled being donated to charity.

Micki Miles, Head of Cabin Services at Jet2.com said: “Since the launch of Jet2.com in 2003, our uniform has seen subtle changes, but this is the first major new design which represents a significant change and will ensure that we stay on-brand and stylish for many years to come. This new look and feel has been driven by Jet2.com colleagues, with 18 months’ worth of feedback and wearer trials helping us to develop a brand-new uniform that not only looks incredible, but addresses comfort and practicality too. We know that our colleagues and customers will love this new uniform, and it will really take us forward as we continue looking after customers on their award-winning flights and holidays with us.”

Ann Dowdeswell, Managing Director at JSD said: “It was an exciting challenge and privilege to design a range that embodies JSD's 'no one is uniform’ philosophy, celebrating diversity across Jet2’s team. Our design and development team prioritised wearer well-being and comfort, integrating sustainable materials to meet our shared commitment to sustainability; ensuring both environmental responsibility and long-lasting quality. We can't wait to see the team step out in their new uniforms!”
