Jet2holidays has celebrated a huge milestone in Kefalonia after welcoming its 50,000th customer on the island for 2024.
Thomas Gerain and Wendy Trutter have been named by the tour operator as its 50,000th customer to enjoy a holiday in Kefalonia this year. To mark the milestone occasion, upon arriving at Kefalonia Airport, the lucky pair were presented with a bouquet of flowers and basket of local Greek produce. To help them feel like true VIPs, Thomas and Wendy also received a private transfer to their accommodation in Skala.
After being told they were Jet2holidays’ 50,000th customer this year in Kefalonia, Thomas and Wendy said they felt “very surprised and delighted” and revealed that they had been visiting the island for the last five years because of its “beautiful beaches, food and welcoming people”.
Summer 24 marks Jet2holidays’ biggest programme to date to Kefalonia, having increased its capacity to the popular destination by 13% compared to Summer 23.
