- Leading leisure airline puts on extra flight for fans to Champions League match
Leading leisure airline, Jet2.com, is putting on a special flight for Manchester City fans so they can see their team face Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League tie next March.
The additional flight will depart from Manchester Airport on Wednesday 18th March 2015 at 09:00, arriving in Barcelona at 12:30 local time – giving fans plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere before the big kick-off at the world-renowned Nou Camp. Fans have a choice of two return flights the following day (19th March), either at 13:15 or 15:15.
Steve Heapy, Chief Commercial Officer of Jet2.com, said: “We like going the extra mile for our customers. It’s an important match for Manchester City fans and this additional flight will make sure they don’t miss out on any of the action.”
