Viewing Paris from a Zeppelin

Sightseeing in Paris has reached new heights that exceed the tip of the Eiffel Tower.
On 3rd August this year, the first commercial Zeppelin tourist flight cruised across the skies of the French capital and surrounding countryside.
This was a momentous occasion and heralds the revival of the classic aircraft that fell out of favour following concerns over safety.
Enhanced Safety Features
However, the new Zeppelins of today feature enhanced safety features and unlike the classic designs of the 30s, the new airships are lifted by helium, a non-flammable alternative to the previously used hydrogen.
Airship Paris measures 75 meters long and 19.5 meters wide and seats 12 passengers. With a cruising speed of around 60 miles per hour the aircraft skims above the leafy suburbs of the city of light at an altitude of around 300 meters.
