The spa town of Harrogate in North Yorkshire is a chic place consisting of the upmarket Montpellier Quarter, Royal Pump Room Museum, Bettys tearoom, the Turkish Baths & Health Spa, and Valley Gardens. You can shop on James Street and Cambridge Street, too. The 2014 Tour de France even passed through Harrogate!
As a tribute to the literary greatness of the Brontë sisters, this museum is held in Keighley, West Yorkshire, where the whole family used to live. Nowadays, you can delve into the arts programme, learn about their works, and enjoy a few events. There’s also a gift shop for souvenirs.
