Birmingham is home to the Bullring, one of the most popular shopping centres in the UK. This cutting-edge building boasts an upmarket Selfridges store, as well as Hugo Boss, John Lewis and more. On top of that, there’s the historic Jewellery Quarter which dates back over 205 years, but still has over 500 jewellery stores.

Fun times

South of the centre of Birmingham, you’ll find Cadbury World. It’s based in the model village Bournville, set up back in the 1860s. Discover the magic of chocolate making and visit the world’s biggest Cadbury shop. For natural wonders, there’s the Birmingham Wildlife Conservation Park and National Sea Life Centre. The NEC is also world-famous for its huge exhibitions.

Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery

This grand gallery first opened its doors in 1885, and has since housed various noteworthy, world-class collections. Although its historic exhibits from around the Birmingham area take up a fair amount of space, it’s also known for its Pre-Raphaelite paintings. Artefacts from Ancient Egypt and the Romans can also be found.

Bullring & Grand Central

There are over 200 stores in Birmingham’s Bullring. This popular shopping centre used to be the best place to go for market stalls back in the Middle Ages. Today, it’s a glamorous choice for a range of high-quality and budget retail, where you can eat and drink too.

Cadbury World

Treat yourself to an experience all about chocolate! At Cadbury World, you can explore the original site of Bournville, and watch as the tempting confectionery is made. Enjoy a tour and taste dark, milk and white chocolate, then sit down to an afternoon tea of indulgent cakes and biscuits.
