Can I change the name on my booking?
We can help you with name changes. For changes made directly through us, you can make one name change per booking when you pay a £40 administration fee (or local currency equivalent) per person, per one-way flight.
For any additional name changes, we'll charge the administration fee plus the difference (if any) in price between your original fare and today’s fare price (including any increase to taxes, fees, or other charges). If the overall fare has decreased since you made the original booking, no refund will be paid. Please also note that any discounts you had on the original fare will no longer apply and you’ll need to pay the extra cost if you make a change. You can make name changes by visiting Manage My Booking or by going to one of our airport sales desks.
You can correct genuine spelling errors without charge. For spelling errors of up to three letters, you can visit Manage My Booking or contact us. If you’ve made a genuine spelling error of four letters or more, you can contact us by phone or email. Please note that free of charge changes to names will only be considered for genuine errors and not for a change of person.
Can I change the date on my booking?
We can help you with date changes. Route changes
Unfortunately, you can't change your departure or destination airport once the booking has been made.
Adding Travel Essentials
You can add Travel Essentials, such as reserved seating, 22kg baggage and Jet2Insurance, after you have completed your booking online when you visit Manage My Booking. You can also add in-flight meals up to 48 hours before your departure.
Flight cancellations
You can cancel your flight at Manage My Booking. When you request the cancellation, you’ll be sent a cancellation email. Simply follow the link in this email to confirm and complete the cancellation. Please be aware that where you chose to cancel your booking or an individual passenger in your party, you will not be entitled to a refund of the price paid. We strongly recommend that you take out comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking to cover for unforeseen events that may prevent you from travelling as planned. However, you can make name and date changes to your booking as detailed above.
If you've purchased a policy from Jet2Insurance on or after 30 June 2022 and need to make a claim, please call AXA on 0204 517 9888 (open Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 UK time). If you’ve purchased a policy from Jet2Insurance before 30 June 2022 and need to make a claim, please visit www.reactiveclaims.com/RegisterClaim.aspx. If flights are cancelled by us and we aren't able to offer a suitable alternative Jet2.com flight, we'll refund you back to the payment card used to make the original booking.
