Portugal National Strike - 03rd June 2026

We are aware and are monitoring a National General Strike that has been called in Portugal on 03rd June 2026, supported by the Confederation of Portuguese Unions. 

As a result of this strike action, some transport services in destination and a number of key services at the airport may be disrupted, this could cause longer than normal queues and disruption to flights on this day.

We are working hard to keep any disruption to a minimum and at the moment all Jet2.com flights are due to operate to schedule. Check-in will close 40 minutes before your scheduled departure so please arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure. 

We will board all flights and close all gates for an on-time departure, this will allow us to depart as soon as we are advised we can, but, please be prepared for longer than usual wait times on board to depart.
