We wanted to let you know about strike action, supported by French Air Traffic Control taking place on the 2nd-3rd October 2025, which may cause delays to flights travelling through French airspace.

Rest assured, we'll try to keep any disruption to a minimum. Check-in will close 40 minutes before your scheduled departure so please arrive at the airport at least two hours before departure.

We will be working hard to ensure that the impact on our flights is minimal, however, you may encounter some disruption if you are travelling during this time.

Please be prepared for possible longer than normal waits onboard your aircraft to depart. We will board all flights and close all gates for an on-time departure, this will allow us to depart as soon as we are advised we can.

We have been informed of a national strike taking place across Italy on the 3rd October 2025 affecting public transport and airport handling.

These strikes will potentially have an impact on flights arriving and departing into several Italian airports. Along with trains operated by Trenitalia, Italo and Trenford from 21:00 2nd October 2025 until 21:00 3rd October 2025 (All times local).

If you are due to travel with Jet2.com and are using public transport to travel to the airport, please check before you travel and allow extra time to get to the airport. If you have a Jet2holidays transfer, these may be amended and communicated with you.

The Met Office has advised that Storm Amy is expected to bring adverse weather conditions, including strong winds to Northern parts of the UK. On Friday 3^rd October to Saturday 4^th October

If you are travelling with Jet2.com during this period, we advise all customers to allow extra time to travel to the airport and check in as scheduled (our check in desks close 40 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time) and our friendly Red Teams in the terminal will keep you up to date.
