We are very sorry to tell you that due to an unscheduled runway closure affecting Bristol Airport, all inbound flights that were due to arrive this evening have been diverted to other UK airports. We are currently in the process of organising ground transportation to get all customers back to Bristol but due to peak demand, we are experiencing delays with our transport providers. Please speak to a member of our Red Team who will assist you and keep you up to date with the latest information. We apologise for the disruption to the end of your holiday, we will have you on your way as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, the runway at Bristol is not expected to open until 6am local time, therefore we are expecting disruption to our flying programme on 8th August. Our UK-based operations team are working hard to minimise the disruption to your journey. For up-to-date flight times, please check back here for the latest updates, you can use the search function to find our your new departure time. Our check-in will be open later if your flight is delayed, but please note the check-in desks will close 40 minutes prior to the new departure time. Once again, we are sorry for the inconvenience this may cause, we will have you on your way as soon as possible.

We are aware of a baggage system issue which has been affecting Birmingham Airport. We are working with Birmingham Airport to minimise disruption. We’d like to remind you to place all travel essentials, including any medication into your cabin baggage.

Just to let you know, there are no restrictions on how much liquid you can take in your hand luggage through airport security at Birmingham Airport. Check-in for all Jet2.com flights will open 4 hours before the scheduled departure time.
